The Spire Lofts

Project Summary

St. Vincent De Paul Church, originally designed by Patrick Keely in 1869, is one of Williamsburg’s most notable historical landmarks. The landmark has been converted into the Spire Lofts, but retains the image of the former church.

The lofts combine modern details with the church’s exposed brick, pillars, beams, and arched stained glass windows. The interior also includes high ceilings, catwalks consisting of distressed cast iron as well as preserved wooden stairs and doors.

Anthony Morali transformed the space into a residential property whilst maintaining the initial structure’s design elements and therefore, the integrity of the former church.
